The thing about local Whistler kids is that they are quintessentially Whistler in miniature form. They learn to walk on ice, they learn to ski at three years old, and they know how to clear a five-foot gap jump on their bikes before most kids their age take off their training wheels. They smell snow the night before it falls, and they can identify every type.
