Our guests have an amazing time with us, many of them trying ziplining and/or visiting the area for the very first time! Part of our service philosophy is to ensure they take their great memories home with them to share with friends and family. As a Ziptrek Photographer, your primary objective is to take action photographs of guests while on course, capturing the fun and excitement of their Ziptrek adventure. You will edit photos digitally, print photos, provide excellent customer service and meet sales targets.
We also rely on you to drive photography & retails sales, contributing to a healthy sales & service culture. You will be close to the action every day, so we look to you for ideas and innovations that will ensure our photography process is effective and easy to administer, also meeting the needs of our guests & operation. At Ziptrek continuous process improvement is everyone's job and with minimal supervision at times, this role requires individuals that have the enthusiasm to drive independent results and productivity.
Photography is an integral part of our Guest Services department, so you will be called upon to greet guests, support the check-in process, answer phones, witness waivers and answer and respond to questions.

Photography at Ziptrek:
- Photograph each guest on course.
- Proficiently plan for photo composition, lighting and angle.
- Greet guests on course, at guest services/ photography desk and handle all inquiries promptly in a warm & professional manner.
- Edit photographs using imaging software.
- Prepare photographic materials including prints and CDs.
- Respond to emails sent to the photography department on a daily basis.
- Provide appropriate care for all equipment, immediately informing Guest Services Manager of deficiencies.
- Maintain awareness of supply levels at the desk, and proactively order inventory as required.
- Maintain all tracking sheets, databases, inventories and filing systems.
- Assist with projects & perform additional duties during ‘down time’ (for example: trail maintenance)
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of all aspects of the job, industry trend, company policies, procedures and operations

Position Requirements: Related photography schooling or work experience is required. In addition, experience working with digital photo editing and printing is essential to your success in this role. The work can be physical in nature, requiring the handling and regular lifting of up to 25 pounds and standing/walking for extended periods in all weather conditions.
Place of work: Main Ziptrek location: Carleton Lodge in the Whistler Village & Ziptrek Courses (between Whistler and Blackcomb mountains).
Length of work day: You will be scheduled to work an 8–10 hour day. Your start time will be between 8:00am and 11:30am.
Photography Gear/Uniform: You will be required to have a watch to ensure that you are in the right place at the right time to capture our guests in alignment with tour times and scheduled breaks. Ziptrek Ecotours will provide the remainder of your equipment requirements, inclusive of all photography equipment, radio and uniform.

Ziptrek only hires a handful of drivers each season, so we are selective!
As a Ziptrek Driver, your primary objective is to ensure that our guests are transported safely, on time and in a clean and friendly environment. It may sound straightforward, but add hotel pick-ups and a very high tour volume and you quickly recognize that a keen sense of timing and logistics is required to ensure guests and guides are consistently at the right place at the right time.

Drivers also support guest services by helping waiver off-site guests and often cross departmental lines to assist other areas with pick-ups and deliveries. However brief your interactions are with our guests, we expect professionalism, strong Ziptrek product & regional knowledge and a willingness to engage our guests in conversation.
A basic mechanical aptitude, clear driver's abstract (incident free driving record) and a commitment to showing personal accountability for ensuring our company vehicles are running well, are welcomed.
Driving at Ziptrek- Ensure the Ziptrek vehicle has passed a pre-trip evaluation and proper documentation is completed.
- Transport guests from village to the Ziptrek course in a pleasant, safe and professional manner.

- All mountain gravel roads required for course access and surrounding Whistler roadways.

Driving Gear/Uniform
- You will be required to have your own radio pack, a watch to manage your pick-up and drop off timing and appropriate footwear. Ziptrek Ecotours will either provide or provide for purchase the remainder of your equipment requirements.

Each member of our Guest Services team is therefore a seasoned seller, well versed in our product offerings and matching them to our guest’s expectations. Answering questions and responding to requests for information is balanced daily with the need to support the link between tours booked and the Operations team that delivers the on-course experience. The Guest Services Role:
- Greet guests and handle all inquiries (phone, fax, in-person, email) promptly and enthusiastically.
- Make accurate tour bookings via the reservations software, considering tour timing and available staff.

- Take ownership of customer requirements and address areas of concern before they become a problem.

Positions Available: We offer Full-time and Peak Part-time positions. Full-time Ziptrek Guest Service Representatives generally work five (5) scheduled shifts per week or four (4) days per week with one (1) day on call. During peak times, you should be prepared to be called in for your on-call shifts and overtime may be required. Peak part-time members of the Guest Services team are typically scheduled for two (2) shifts per week, plus one on-call and increased shifts during peak seasons and holidays.
Training: Guest Services training is 2-3 days long, followed by a shadowing/mentoring process with our Senior Guest Service Representatives.
