In support of our relationship with Canadian schools and their co-operative education programs, we are only accepting applications from co-op students at this time. Our job postings will open to the general public on February 10, 2012.

ZIPLINE GUIDE

As a Ziptrek Guide you will be tasked daily with providing an exceptional tour experience by focusing on each guest’s individual needs, guided by the principles of The Natural Step and our ecology curriculum. Our tours are not weather dependent – we operate rain or shine, in all conditions. Our expectation is that you connect with each of our guests and share with them the exhilaration of ziplining and leave them with a stronger sense of ownership and interest in caring for our planet. While fun and learning are paramount, safety remains our number one priority. Your approach to safety must be uncompromising, both with your guests and your team.

GUEST SERVICE AGENT

We pride ourselves on delivering a consistently high level of service and have been recognized as one of Whistler's top Guest Services teams year after year! Our Guest Services team is the first impression of Ziptrek Ecotours on our guests, so we look for individuals with poise, professionalism and a genuine enthusiasm for connecting with others. Whether on the phone, in person or via email our Guest Services representatives are responsible for selling, booking and facilitating the check-in process for our tours.

ACTION PHOTOGRAPHER

As a Ziptrek Photographer, your primary objective is to take action photographs of guests while on course, capturing the fun and excitement of their Ziptrek adventure. You will edit photos digitally, print photos, provide excellent customer service and meet sales targets.You will be close to the action every day, and photography is an integral part of our Guest Services department, so you will be called upon to greet guests, support the check-in process, answer phones, witness waivers and answer and respond to questions.

Comprehensive training is provided for all jobs at Ziptrek.

Student & Co-op Positions

Ziptrek's co-op positions offer students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience, and apply what they have learned in the classroom to the Eco-tourism industry. Contract completion is an important criterion and students must be available to work the entire term. We also offer permanent positions to recent graduates because we know our growing business is dependent on skilled employees that have shown a commitment to learning, sustainability and tourism.

Summer Paid Co-op

We offer students from our partnered schools the opportunity to apply  in advance - before any other candidates! Applicants must be available from May or June through to September, and the contract term is a minimum of 4 months.

Unpaid Co-ops
Applicants will be considered with respect to the availability in the department applied for. Applications are accepted year-round for unpaid co-ops, please submit your resume at least eight weeks prior to the start of your co-op term.
