Zipline returns to zip over the Embarcadero

Guess what's back at Justin Herman Plaza? It's the zip line ride that was such a big hit a year ago.

Currently the only riders are employees of Ziptrek, which is setting up the ride. But it should be ready to go by Saturday. Here's a taste of what it looks like.

OK. That was sideways, wasn't it? We will try to fix that, but you get the idea.

The important stats are as follows: The entire run is 750 feet and it is 70 feet in the air.

The price is $29 per person, which sounds a little steep. But then how often do you get to fly over the commuters headed for the ferry?
