COMMERCIAL FILMING & PHOTOGRAPHY

Thank you for your interest in film / photography shooting at Ziptrek Ecotours. We support productions that meet our filming requirements while recognizing the value of commercial exposure. Ziptrek Ecotours hosts film shoots each season, large and small. Our fees are based on the size of the shoot and the number of days of actual filming. We require insurance and paperwork to be handled through our Marketing department. We provide fully trained professional Ziptrek guides with experience on course to assist on all commercial productions. Our guides act as first aid attendants while also protecting Ziptrek's and Whistler Blackcomb's environmental interests.

WHY FILM AT ZIPTREK ECOTOURS?

Our course is private and only accessible through Ziptrek Ecotours. Located in the narrow valley between Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains, Ziptrek Ecotours has become the most popular year round activity in Whistler. Ziptrek is comprised of ten ziplines, seven treetop suspension bridges and multiple sky high viewing platforms. Platforms are heated providing comfort in the winter season while viewing dramatic landscapes from up to 200' above the valley floor over looking the glacial waters of Fitzsimmons Creek.

ENVIORNMENTAL

Environmental Requirements for filming at Ziptrek Ecotours:

• The production company shall not destroy, cut, remove, relocate or drive over any tree, shrub, flower, moss, grass area, footpath or natural object without prior approval from Ziptrek Ecotours.
• Filming may take place near, but not in, areas that are environmentally sensitive.
• Any plants or animals that are not native to our local ecosystem will only be allowed on site with approval and must be contained at all times during filming
• Members of the production company must familiarize themselves with the fire protection and hazardous materials spill contingency plans prior to the commencement of filming
• These members will be called upon for assistance in the event of an emergency on site
• The use of hazardous materials and foreign substances shall be prohibited without prior written permission from Ziptrek Ecotours Inc.
